There is an old folk song about a beautiful woman lost at sea … it's locked in the attic of my brain and I can't recall it's title, nor have I been able to find it on a LONG Google search. Your beautiful art has me pulling my hair out at the moment!!! lol
It's me back again! It was a poem, not a song, and it's the "Wreck of the Hesperus" by Longfellow. You've illustrated it beautifully! Whew! Glad I dredged that one up, or I'd have been awake all night!
Oh there's definitely a story there, Lori. I can't decide if she's lost and sad ..... OR whether she's luring ships onto the rocks!!! Either way I absolutely love this.
This is so cool it has a very mysterious atmosphere...great work.
