We could use a little bit of rain dancing here in California as we are all on water rationing this summer. My yard has looked better that`s for sure. This is my entry for the
TAW challenge this week to use a "Dancer" in our artwork. Imagery from Dover and itkupilli.
A truly amazing piece with colours so vivid and striking. I hope the rain dance works, Lori. I live on the south-west coast of a continent and we have had water restrictions for some years - 15 minutes twice a week for sprinklers, otherwise limited hand watering. We only see rain in the three months of winter and it's scary that we have had no rain go speak of. Climate change is alive and well.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful and evocative piece, Lori!
ReplyDeleteI love everything Indian! This is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteThis would look good in a frame!
Just wishing I could send you some rain, Lori, there have been dreadful floods in various parts of NZ over the past week, luckily not near me this time. Love the vibrancy hope the dance works for you!
ReplyDeleteUnique interpretation on the dans theme. Well done.
ReplyDeleteWe have had lot of rain here. Hope the sunny days.

This is beautiful and colorful, Lori. Such a shame Texas can't send you all some of their overflow!
ReplyDeleteVibrant and lively, Lori, but please no rain dance, here in the UK we're still waiting for summer to begin!!!
ReplyDeleteThis piece is beautiful. We attended an Indian Pow Wow in our area several years ago and their outfits were incredible. I need to pull out photos and actually use them in my art.
