Meditation

This is my entry for The Three Muses challenge this week to create art in the style of a favorite or inspiring artist.  The artist I chose is a contemporary digital artist Catrin Welz-Stein. Her mixture of fantasy, femininity and symbol always appeal to me and I have tried to capture a bit of her style here. You can visit her blog (see my sidebar) and she is featured in the Nov/Dec/Jan "Artful Blogging" magazine.  Fun challenge!  Imagery from itKuPilli.

    This is a beautiful tribute to Welz-Stein. We have used her for an artist of inspiration at our Flickr Digitalmania site. I agree with you, and admire her work a great deal.

    How beautiful and very unusual. It's an interesting sky and plant on the right, highlighting the main subject..

    Magical and enchanting..such a beautiful visual meditation! I have always said it..but all of your creations are pure soul-journeys for me and take me in a dream world of magic! This is perfect for my day...thank you for your artistic spirit..it always shines through and lifts my soul to dance!
