Par Avion

This is my entry for the upcoming Sunday Postcard Art challenge where the theme is "Mail Art"- one of my passions.  This is also the first entry in my new blog; something I have been wanting to do for a while now. I wanted to design a new place to create , dream  and incorporate a bit of magic. A place filled with light and new perspectives.  Welcome to Foxglove Hollow!

    Wow..magnificently beautiful..the wings are fabulous..gorgeous subdued palette!Striking and very strong..I love horses and all pegasus-like creatures! And yay..Congrats on this new blog..I absolutely love your new realm here..and the blog header..Bewildering and Mesmerizing..wowness!!

    This is gorgeously stark in its black and whiteness and lush in sensual imagery! Bravo, Lori!
    I like this new blog, so light compared to the Raven. Do I detect a sea change here? I'd love to know the story...

    I have a great free elements and papers site for you to try...it called 'with a Russian Dutch heart' and it has beautiful papers, and lots of really nice floral elements.

    The black and white look of drawings is so effective, and it looks like mail art from the past, telling a story. I have always loved myths and fairy stories about winged horses, and this postcard is a treasure. All the elements fit together so well.
